Privacy policy

What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. In plain English.

Who we are

ClinicReviews.com.au is a review and discovery platform powered by Glow.com.au ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Browsing the site requires no account and no personal information. We collect personal information only when you choose to submit it: through the claim-profile form, the demo-booking form or the contact form (typically your name, email address, phone number and business details), and through your saved shortlist, which is stored only on your own device and never sent to us.

Business profile pages display information that is publicly available: business names, locations, services and aggregated public review signals.

How we use it

Form submissions are used to verify business claims, respond to enquiries, arrange demos and administer listings. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. We may use your contact details to respond to you and, where you've claimed a business profile, to administer that listing.

Storage and security

Form submissions are processed and stored by our hosting provider (Netlify) on infrastructure that may be located outside Australia. We retain submissions for as long as needed to administer listings and enquiries, then delete them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

Cookies and local storage

We don't run advertising trackers. Your saved shortlist is kept in your browser's local storage on your device — it never leaves your browser and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data clears it. Embedded third-party content (such as Google Fonts or links to Google Maps) is governed by those providers' own policies.

Reviews and public data

Review signals shown on profiles are derived from publicly available sources. If you believe information on a profile is inaccurate or should be removed, contact us and we'll review it. Business owners can claim their profile to correct profile information directly.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — use the contact form and choose "Privacy request". If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

We'll update this policy as the platform evolves and show the date of the latest revision here. Last updated: June 2026.
